Saving Shelter Pets (SSP) strives to eliminate euthanasia as a method of population control for homeless companion animals, by providing no-kill alternative solutions and proactively addressing the problem of pet overpopulation. SSP is an all-volunteer organization. SSP's focus is to rescue dogs and cats from high-kill shelters (primarily in the greater Atlanta area), promote spay/neuter programs, and give all pets the chance at life that they deserve.
